Sergio Ruisánchez, known professionally as Tiko Astur, is a name that resonates on the Asturian comedy scene for his unique style and ability to connect with audiences. However, he prefers to define himself as a truck driver rather than a comedian, emphasizing the circumstantial nature of his relationship with comedy. “To consider yourself a comedian, you have to make comedy your way of life,” he firmly states. He doesn't hesitate to point out the reality of the scene: “I don't like seeing people who call themselves 'comedians' because they have two or three gigs in two months. By that rule of thumb, I could be a surfer, a cyclist, or even a plasterer.”

His performances are characterized by a blend of spontaneous humor and biting observations of everyday life, a style that makes it clear he doesn't need any embellishment to get laughs. His is pure wit, fueled by his everyday experiences behind the bar. And while comedy isn't his primary occupation, his natural talent and honest perspective make him a unique voice in today's comedy scene.
